so far behind....

eric & i have really been enjoying summer before it's gone!

he surprised me last friday with a fishing date night.

he personalized a fishing pole & go my fishing license without me even knowing.

he packed a lunch and we headed to a cute little spot near our house.

he caught a large catfish {those are ugly looking!! ha} i had no success.

i'm determined to get one before summer is over.

 we spent the 24th at my parents celebrating my moms birthday! we lit off a few fireworks with the kids and ate some really yummy food! we have been lucky enough to spend sometime with abby's kids--they have grown up SO much.

 we had the family out to our place to go swimming and have lunch. it was fun to see eric teach the kids how to dive and i held colton to supress my baby hunger...

 this season i swear has been WEDDING season!! i just cleared off our fridge today and we had 5 announcements on there. the gorgeous bride below was my roommate and friend in jerusalem. she was a stunning bride. we had a fun party for her before the wedding! i also stopped by one of my former cheerleader friends, abby {owens} wedding reception and ran into some good friends there!

besides that we have continued to go to 7 peaks and even went with the cute ballard kids i use to nanny! last night eric & i went and played tennis...i'm hooked! my sister gave me a cute pink tennis racquet and i'm so glad i got to finally use it. we will definitely be going as soon as possible! we went on a fun hike with erics parents and enjoyed a packed lunch at the top surrounded by a pretty lake. we are off for a sunday walk and hopefully another great week. we are loving married life and i really think it's safe to say...it really does get better and better!!
