my mom & i got our education on at byu education week. i learned so much in such a short time
{we went for 1 day} and ended the night seeing AIDA {one of my all time favorites}
it was so fun to have the day to ourselves. it made me go home with new goals and different ways to improve and balance a more enriched life.
we were a bit star struck when jimmer happened to cross our path...{maybe just me}
my mom hollered to him like they were bff. it was cute. and we lucked out with a picture.
thanks for the fun day mom! let's make it a tradition!
eric & i went to a session on saturday morning in the bountiful temple.
it was the first time i had been back since getting married there.
my dad was getting released that day for his hard work as being the saturday morning shift coordinator.
he worked so hard on that calling and i'm sure he will be less stressed on friday nights.
it was fun to see my parents working in the temple while we were there!
i'm sure this isn't news to any of you but MAN ALIVE have we had some awesome thunder storms!
eric & i were basically racing home saturday night to get our cameras. we felt like storm chasers.
we drove to an open field & trecked with our cameras + tripods and took picture after picture of the gorgeous storm. i was struggling with my camera settings & forgetting what was what...which made me determined to practice more but eric happened to have his on an awesome setting and snapped some great shots.

I may not live close but you can come and visit anytime! I love you! So happy things are going well for you and eric:)
Hi Ali-
you probably know me (Jaci Mabey) but I stumbled across your darling blog-love it! What camera do you have? Those shots of the lightning storm are awesome. I'm just looking at buying one, especially since my husband and I moved out here to DC for the fall and need a nice camera to take pics. what do you recommend?
