my husband.

so i did a little post on eric a few months back {here}and definitely decided it's time for volume II.

1. THE CHOP {stiff arm & hand in one swift motion from elbow down}
eric often thinks things will be fixed with a hand chop. whether it's fixing his pillow or slowing me down if we are walking next to eachother. i'm not sure where he gets it but i do think it's a boy thing. now that i've noticed he does that i think it's so funny/random.

2. THE BACKPACK
i'm sure you've seen it even if you've never met eric. it's in pictures, his car, on our floor, it's made it to my parents house MANY times.....
he loves his backpack. he believes everything can & must fit inside.
its going to be a bad day when it breaks or is lost that is for sure.

3. FAN THROW
so we just recently moved but in our previous bedroom we had a ceiling fan. it was on every night. eric discovered that when he would take off his socks this was the perfect target. he did it almost every night and wanted me to watch everytime....he loved seeing where the socks would go or if he could make it to the ceiling without hitting the fan. i think this related to his obsession with "the chop"

4. RHYME NAMES kind of...
example: sneaky snally, wrinkle racker, coldy toldy--you get the picture.
i guess he just uses the same letter or the sound for whatever second word he uses.
i know what you're thinking...wrinkle racker?! yep. he's used that one!

5. WATERBOTTLE
i bought eric a camelback waterbottle because i'm obsessed with mine. it was stainless steel and rocked. anyway he ended up wanting mine instead. i had a green one and it held a bit more water. well....i've decided he wants the waterbottle that is always mine because he never uses the green one and it's actually lost 90% of the time. i've decided it's because i actually fill mine up whenever it's empty and so there is always cold water inside. what a spaz.

6.BIRTH CONTROL MONITOR
when my alarm on my phones goes off to remind me about taking my birth control....eric is up and already digging in my purse and getting it for me. at first i thought it was just a kind gesture but i think he's afraid i'll sabotage him and fake that i took it. but he really is the best about reminding me or getting it for me ;) ha.

7. HELPER
with our recent move he has done SO much. he is great at puzzling together packing boxes and car loads. he is so strong and carries far more than i ever could. he got our loooong list of groceries, has done the dishes and made me dinner the past 2 nights in a row, and planned a little date night for tonight. {cue: stress relief } i know i can count on him!

marriage is a rollercoaster but i'm glad it's with him.
