family treasures.

i'm grateful for the past.

{even though i don't love educational history}

i love personal history.

i love hearing people tell their "stories"

i have a strange connection/love for older people.

when we went to texas i listened to eric's grandmother ruby tell amazing stories.

everyone was saying i didn't have to sit and listen to her...but i LOVED it.

i asked her to keep telling me more.

it made me have more appreciation and love for her.

awhile ago i saw this picture on pinterest and fell IN LOVE.

i was going to do it.

i've randomly been purchasing doilies but thought of the idea to gather them from family.

i want to have a piece of both eric and my side in this table runner.

i want to make my own heirlooms to pass down

i've already gathered beautiful ones and just need to start laying it out.

i can't wait for the finished product!

so for day 4/5 i'm grateful for family history & of course pinterest :)
