goodnight 2009.

My goals for the past year:

1. Say, I love you more.
2. Call/text each sibling weekly
3. Eat healthy
4. Exercise 30-60 minutes a day
5. Daily scripture study
6. Kneel for ALL my personal prayers
7. Simplify (time & things)
8. Cook 3 meals a week
9. Allow others to hear my testimony
10. Temple weekly

I definitely didn't master each goal (especially 8) but I think I made more of an effort. It's a good thing that the satisfaction of my year doesn't just come from accomplishing those goals...because this past year has been SIMPLY AMAZING. I couldn't have asked for a better year!!
It started off leaving for Israel on January 6th! That decision has shaped my spiritual learning and growth more than I could imagine! February 1st I was on top of Mt. Sinai for the sunrise. I remember singing hymns in the freezing cold. The view was spectacular. March 29th marked my 20th birthday on the shores of Galilee. The same day I was able to go to the Mt. of Transfiguration. "This is my beloved Son, of whom I am well pleased; hear ye him." (Matt. 17 1-9) April 24th was the beginning of my backpacking trip through Europe and we started in Austria. Salzburg is one of the prettiest places I have ever set foot. The surroundings were so clean and quaint. May 7th one of my closest girlfriends got sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a pretty day and very surreal to see her moving on to the next stage in life! June 25th I went to Pike's Market for the first time and my first Major League Baseball game!! I discovered I loved the Pacific Northwest. I was able to see beautiful Oregon and Canada as well. July 30th I went to Camp Piuta for Girls Camp. I was called to be over the 5th years and it was a blast. That day the highlight was testimony meeting. August 10th I went to California to visit Aunt Coco and Shar's family. That specific day the girls were pampered at the spa and I was able to spend some quality time with Shar and especially gain some great advice:) September 4th/9th was the Snarr girls trip to Las Vegas! It consisted of sunbathing, shopping, Lion King on Broadway, a gondola ride, eating yummy food, and a lot of talking. The 9th was beginning of my last Fall semester at BYUI. It was a fun, challenging, and learning semester. It flew by and I can't believe I'm almost graduated! October 31st wasn't extra special but it was Halloween. I dressed up as a gypsy...cool i guess. ha November 20th I drove home for my week long vacation! I loved spending Thanksgiving at home and having some real food compared to the bare minimum at school! December 5/25th was the start of the Larsen Family Reunion cruise! That was a great way to top off the year with sunshine and family! Then of course Christmas morning with the family. My fun comes out of watching the grand kids open presents now!

This past year has brought wonderful experiences and no regrets.
I'm so thankful for my health and happiness
Bring on 2010....

xoxo
