home.

I went to go see "the switch" and i really liked it.
The previews make it seem like it's a complete comedy but it's actually pretty sad and heartfelt.
Besides watching the movie I am someone who is always aware of the soundtrack.
[it was a good soundtrack by the way]
But this go around I was also struck by a line in the movie....and i've been thinking about it a lot.
I won't give away what was going on but the line was, "They are my home."

WHAT IS YOUR HOME?

-certain people?
-a house itself?
-beliefs?
-stores?
-neighbors?
-workout routine?
-destination?
-an outfit?
-specific movie?
-furniture?
-food?
-car?
-school?
-occupation?
-drink?
-a song?

I have loved entertaining this thought.

I've come to realize that I'm someone who adapts abnormally well to change--and so i'm guessing my typical "HOME" isn't the same as a lot of people. I feel so content with the smallest of things and I think thats why I constantly feel like life is so good.

I feel at home:
being physically at my house by myself or with my family.
being in the streets of new york city.
drinking from my freezing cold water bottle.
when I listen to beautiful world by coldplay or let go by imogen heap.
when I enter a LDS church house or temple no matter which one.
when it's raining.
in Anthropologie, Zgallery or H&M [i know this is pathetic]
when I'm driving my car with the windows down-blasting and singing to music.
when it's either springtime or fall.
being barefoot.
roaming the streets of Paris.
when I'm willingly on a run.
eating pita and hummus, edamame, starburst, smoothies, grapes, chicken & broccoli casserole
when i'm with e.
sitting indian style.
when my close friends get together.
wearing comfy clothes.

I am home when i'm thinking about Israel and I felt like it was my home when I lived there.

...what is your home?
