okay people. outfit a day blogs? really?
i'm all about expressing who you are in how you dress....but......
are people REALLY choosing what they would wear?
doubt it.
because they are going to:
go to a destination to take pictures
probably have someone take pictures for them
pose 9237928 times like they are a model
then take time editing self portraits
AND THEN post more than 1 photo just to show off your outfit?
{I'm pretty sure we only need ONE photo if you do it anyway}
yeah...pretty sure outfit choosing is a WHOLE lot different in the morning.

main question: answered
anyway.....blogs that do this {if you do. cool.i don't hate you. i even considered it at one point}
but your outfits ALL look the same to me.
those outfits aren't "your style" it's becoming the BLOG OUTFIT STYLE.
everyone has the same:
poses
boots
tights
striped shirt
belt folded in a twist
cardigan
and 1 of 3 hairstyles; high bun, wavy hair, or straight.
i admit:
i liked 1 or 2 of the blogs but now it's over the top
i love finding a good deal and thrifting.
i like new styles.
that now it drives me crazy because it's so unoriginal.
ultimately it's because i like to be different/unique and when everyone conforms it drives me nuts.
i can't help but relating it to; those tin stars plastered in every house & family+pet vinyl stickers on the back of cars.
REALLY? REALLY?.......
sorry if i offended you.
but it's taking over the blogsphere!!
oh and i'm pretty sure everyone didn't LOOoOOVVE anthro {or that style} but then again i like to claim that store as mine.

and i love it
i totally agree... i know exactly what you're saying.
while they are interesting for a while, they get to get...
well...
you nailed it.
Here's a freaking huge AMEN from me sista!
I'm all about boycotting the daily outfit post blogs. They just scream "hi, i'm materialistic,i'm obsessed with myself, and instead of doing something productive with my time i like to play dress up and take pictures of myself to show you how cute i think i am"
spare me!
-thanks for sharing your opinion al, you hit it right on the money!
HHAHAHAHAHAH thank youuuuu ALI!!!! If I actually blogged I would have made a very similar post. You hit all the points/ I cannot comprehend HOW or WHY you would want to spend that much time on YOURSELF. And I know exactly what/who your talking about. YES its THAT obvious because they are all the same. Amen sister. Amen.
Kindred spirits, miss ali. But we already know that..... after 258053 texts over this very {annoying} issue.
P.S. pieces from Target and kohl's aren't worth mentioning.
haha i've been thinking this for months. obnoxious--but i agree about anthro.
what's antro? think it would be cool to start an outfit blog about all my wal-mart clothes?
hahahahahahha, AMEN dude. i am starting to realize all her outfits look the same with that dang belt. lets see some creativity man!
Hi Ali :)
I guess I'll be the one to defend all of the fashion bloggers out there, including me (who knows and loves you). The positive side of fashion blogging includes the following:
- Empowerment to the people. Fashion blogs eliminate the elitist mentality of the fashion industry, and gives individual, everyday people a voice. And yes, there are similar poses, outfits, garments, and blogs. But those that standout are well followed, and rightfully so.
- As a professional fashion blogger, I can say that it is the way of the future for the fashion industry. I blog for MyFDB (My Fashion Database), I have my own personal blog, and I blog for UCLA's fashion club, FAST (Fasthion And Student Trends). I literally get paid to talk about my outfits and fashion in general. It may seem silly, but it's really happening. Bloggers are gaining so much attention and influence right now. I mean they are sitting in the front rows at fashion shows with very established, successful people. Fashion bloggers are even becoming cosmopolitan entrepreneurs.
-Fashion blogging for me, is about pursuing my passion, my hopes and my dreams. It helps me to refine my artistic expression. It's about discovering myself, improving myself with the constructive criticism I receive, and gaining confidence.
Thanks for inspiring me, I appreciate it.
Ali, tell me how you really feel? Okay, I am quitting my outfit-a-day blog RIGHT NOW!
Love you!
ps: (i've never heard of this, am i out of touch?!)
